I'm a Principal Research Scientist at Isomorphic Labs. Before that I worked as Director of AI at Charm Therapeutics and a Senior Research Scientist at DeepMind. I live in London, UK, originally I'm from from Moscow, Russia.

I'm currently working at the intersection of machine learning and digital biology but I don't forget my roots in the fundamental ML research which are generative models, Bayesian ML and applied maths. I also try to educate myself in politics and economics. One day I hope to catch up with the modern state of physics as well.

I'm also interested in arts, I play music (these days less than I would like to); yavgnu is the best-documented project I've been involved in. I used to write poems and short stories in Russian, but I don't have enough to say to continue.

I make angel investments in tech startups. I see this as a great opportunity to learn about the other (business / socio-economical) side of the technology development process.
